This group rehearsed once a week at the Flinders Street School of Music. Essentially it was a Symphony Orchestra but without strings, the sections of the symphony orchestra being replicated by wind instruments.
It was a combination of seasoned players and students from the Conservatorium building up their performance hours. We rehearsed regularly but played publicly only a few times. I played alto clarinet in this group.
