The Australian Anthology of New Poets 1995 is the seventh edition of an annual publication designed to help new poets into print.
It is a cooperative venture in which the contributing poets can buy copies of the book for their own purposes thus ensuring a wide distribution. It is also distributed through selected bookshops, with part of the sale proceeds going to the Australian New Poets Fund.
Each year a number contributors are selected by the editors and have their initial copies paid for by the Fund. Pem had five of his poems accepted for this edition. Links to samples of Pem’s poetry:
