A prior study (Stage One) was an integrated planning and economic strategy for the future development of the Liverpool Centre, the adjoining Moorebank Industrial area and Holsworthy army land as a major employment node for Liverpool and southwestern Sydney.
This 1994 study was required to establish a physical and economic framework and to identify the major strengths in terms of urban design and economic activities which could form the basis of an overall strategy for the development. The study then proceeded to its second stage and the formulation of detailed implementation proposals and strategies for precincts with orders of cost within the area.
I was responsible for this study from its inception, through the design, the costing analysis and the report preparation.
